Eric Kant designed the distinctive interior of this newly built and very striking dental practice in Oud-Beijerland. The layout was modified to reflect the building’s stealth-like architectural form, with geometric lines that allude to aviation and automotive design. This allusion is also discernable in the bespoke furnishing, the units of which are made of oak and finished in Corian. The dominant colours are white and anthracite, balanced by the warmth evoked by the judicius use of exposed wood. A visit to the dentist’s in Oud-Beijerland has practically become a special occasion.
